Registered in 1988, it has original number plates and logbook of the Province of Bari. Current owner says that, due to serious health problems, first owner forced to stop driving it a few months after purchase and locked it in a garage where he was accompanied from time to time to start it and hear the noise of the boxer engine. Car remained in that garage until 2018. Odometer reads 5,847km to date.
Silver colour with plaid fabric interior, the car is in stunning condition. Seats are as new, like the steering wheel and gear knob, plastics are still opaque with no creaking noise. There is still protective cellophane on the carpet.
Mechanically perfect, all necessary interventions carried out for the car to circulate after such a long period of inactivity, including a braking system overhaul and a general service with replacement of the timing belt. Since then, it has travelled just over 1,000km. The car is fitted with the aftermarket air conditioning system of the Alfa Romeo accessory line, installed by the dealership at the time of purchase. There is the specific air conditioning brochure together with the service log and use and maintenance booklet.
The Alfa 33 was a huge commercial success, thanks to its generous performance and relatively low cost. These qualities meant that the cars still in circulation are, on average, highly utilised, which makes this model a unique item.
