Known History

Built to Australian specification and first registered in Johannesburg, this beautiful Vanquish S was acquired by a South African Aston Martin enthusiast in September 2011 through Aston Martin Cape Town. With residences in South Africa and the UK, the owner imported the car into the UK in 2015, and all Customs & Excise NOVA documentation is in order and the car was registered on his personalised plate. That plate has been retained and the car is offered for sale with its age designated DVLA registration mark.

There is a clear record of the car’s early maintenance provided by Aston Martin Cape Town from the Aston Martin website and the current owner has ensured the car’s continued full-service record during his ownership.

There are a couple of acknowledge anomalies which may be addressed on the sale of the car or accepted as an amusing idiosyncracy by the next owner – the original specification in its destination country did not include satellite navigation and of course whilst our Australian friends have the steering wheel on the right, they record their journeys in kilometres. A MPH speedometer face was put on the car but the odometer still reads kilometres.

But this car has the true sheen of a perfectly maintained car whose condition belies its continental journeys – those were over the oceans so the odometer only records its modest use on the roads – its service history is anything but modest – if you have always wanted a Vanquish, have this one, its one of the best!
