Known History

The 1992 Barcelona Motor Show was the first to be graced by the Alfa Romeo 155, which replaced the 75. It came with a choice of several interesting engines, including the acclaimed four-cylinder 'Twin Spark' and the V6 already seen on previous models. But the sportiest version was unquestionably the 155 Q4, derived mechanically from Lancia's Integrale. Its 2-litre 16-valve engine was equipped with a turbo, raising its output to 192bhp, and it had permanent four-wheel drive.

The model presented here was sold new in December 1992 in the Tarn and has remained there ever since, as it was bought by the Alfa Romeo dealer in Albi in 2004. It has only covered 92,000km from new and has been regularly serviced throughout its life. The bodywork, which is perfectly preserved and rust free, has been resprayed in its original colour, while the interior reflects the careful use the car has seen. In strictly original configuration, this example is in exceptionally well-preserved condition, with a clear history and limited mileage: it is an opportunity which is unlikely to come up again soon, given the difficulty of finding this collector's model.
