Known History

The Ferrari F355 was introduced after the 348 in 1994 and retook the basics of its predecessor. The Pininfarina design is more modern and classic with the return of the four round lights at the back. The 3.5L engine has a 5-valves per cylinder configuration which increases its performance to 380hp, translating to a very high output of 109hp per litre for this naturally aspirated engine. The F1 gearbox is featured in this generation of V8 berlinetta cars which are also available with a manual gearbox. Initially offered in GTB and GTS versions when it was released, the F355 was then launched in a Spider version in 1995 and experienced great success as a convertible with 2,664 units manufactured.

This specific F355 Spider was delivered new in Germany on 15 March 1999 by the Ferrari Becker dealership in Düsseldorf. It has a gorgeous configuration combining a silver grey "Argento Nurburgring" bodywork with an all-black leather interior, carpets and soft top. It also has red brake callipers and drilled brake discs. As stated in its service logbook, the vehicle has been meticulously well maintained since leaving the factory and displayed 30,700km during our road test. As an enthusiast of the prancing horse's brand, its current owner acquired it in 2019 from a Dutch professional, after being won over by its well-preserved condition and after having looked for such an example on the market for a long time. The presentation of this Spider is indeed beautiful, both exterior and interior. On the mechanical front, it also benefited from a major restoration at Forza Service in Holland, including the replacement of the timing belts for almost €5,000 in total. The four tyres are new and the car will be delivered with its duplicate keys, tools kit and leather pouch containing all of on-board manuals. Equipped with a stainless-steel exhaust beautifying the magical sound of its V8 engine, this beautiful F355 Spider is a true creation of automotive pleasures.
