Known History

The Alfa Romeo GT 1300 Junior Zagato we are offering here is chassis AR*1800064. The car is one of just 1,108 examples produced and left the works on March 5th 1970. It was supplied new for the Italian market via main dealer in Modena 15 days later. The original colour combination was Giallo Oro with Skai nero to the interior, as evidenced by the Certificato di Origine.

The first recorded owner, as per the Italian Targa, was Mr Harold Roy Slater. The car’s first registration was MO216941. Harold Roy Slater later registered the car CO880504 in 1988. By 1996 the car was acquired by Mr Romeo Giovanni Milesi of Bergamo. Interestingly 1800064 had received ASI certificate which mentioned a very good A3 classification.

By 2018, the car was sold to its current and 3rd owner in Switerland. Since then a no-expenses spared restoration to exact original standards was embarked by some of the best specialists, resulting in an astonishing result. Without any doubt, 1800064 is the very best restored example on the market.

With unchanged-from-new specifications and matching numbers, this exquisite example is accompanied with tools and books as well as an important restoration dossier comprising a great set of invoice records. A pure gem for any Zagato or Alfa Romeo collection!
