This is a very rare piece of automotive racing history. Pre-dating Sox & Martin's long use of Hemi's, came this wonderful "340" equipped Barracuda. It was made to beat their Chevy "350" competitors and it did! This car has a very well documented race and owner history from day one.

It was built on Aug.31, 1967 and was painted the famous red, white & blue Sox & Martin livery prior to being delivered to Ronnie Sox. As a stock production car Ronnie ran a very respectable 13.98 out of the box. Its most famous event was the 1968 Winternationals in Pomona, California in which Jim McFarland (then editor of Hot Rod magazine) won the Stock Eliminator class and was runner-up in the Super Stock category doing a solid 12.92 @ 108.46 after tweaking from engine guru, Jake King.

In 1970, Ronnie Sox sold the 'Cuda to Al Farreta from Valley Motors in Altoona, Pennsylvania. Al campaigned the car for several years in its new livery. In 1994, the car was fully restored by John Aruzza (famous drag racing Hemi builder) to its gorgeous original colors.

It now shows under 15,000 original miles and retains every original body panel never having any rust or any damage ever. It has one of John's incredible 340's in it (original c.1971 "X" coded warranty block) pushing 575hp with it's original serial #'d transmission and Ronnie's B & M Shifter in it. Included is a huge crate full of original 60's mags and documentation featuring it. It has a collage with racing slips, two factory build sheets and a ton of detailed paperwork about its past history. The car also comes with its original heads, original carburetor, an extra Hemi racing hood and much more. Also accompanying this car are photos documenting its detailed restoration process. This car is as happy on the track as it is driving in the neighborhood. It is fully street legal and has a clear title so you can use it as often as you like. This is a sure investment quality car that would enhance any Mopar or Race Car collection.
