1988 FERRARI TESTAROSSA $99,995.00
Designed by Pininfarina the Testa Rossa premiered at the Paris Auto Show in 1984 as the successor to the 512 Berlinetta Boxer. Introduced in the United States as a 1985 model year and continued through the 1991 model year. Powered by a Flat 12-cylinder 48 valve engine of 4.9 litres in size rated at about 380 horsepower for the US version. Motor Trend magazine managed a 0 to 60 in 5.29 seconds and a ¼ mile was achieved in 13.2 seconds. Maximum speed was about 180 mph. As a Flagship Ferrari model in its time the car was owned by many celebrities and starred in Miami Vice television series for a few seasons. As is often the case with Exotic/Luxury cars of this nature they plummet in value initially which these did only to rebound in value with vengeance. Many experts predict the Testarossa to take a massive leap forward in appreciation. Myself, I agree with that opinion, these are too cheap for what they are, a great performing and driving Enzo era car with a 12-cylinder engine that are a very significant Exotic car of the ‘80’s. This example has 22, 277 miles registered. It started life in Florida before coming to California at a young age. It had a major service done very few miles ago but will need to be performed again because of time rather than mileage. Overall a very tidy car that will be a great driver for someone to appreciate. These look so good in this colour combination. Finished in Nero over Nero Leather.
