This authentic 1965 Shelby GT350 is listed and registered with SAAC, and is complete with dealers order form #651191, and Shelby to dealer invoice #A756. A great opportunity to purchase an extremely collectable, documented and desirable race car that was built for the street.

When Ford wanted to create a package that would help the Mustang to be recognized as more of a sports car, they turned to the expert, Carroll Shelby. The result was a five year run of specialty high performance Mustangs. During the first year of production, 521 Shelby Mustang street models were made. These first year models were the closest to a race car, closer than any other Shelby Mustang. They only came in one color, and with a four- speed transmission, they all had two seats, side exit exhaust, stiff suspension, and a Detroit locker rear-end. As Shelby Mustangs evolved through the years they became a far more luxury oriented Muscle car.
