Known History

The Alfa Romeo on offer is a rare second series 1750 GT Veloce from 1969. Compared to its predecessor, the 1600 Veloce, it has many improvements, including the 1750 engine which develops 132hp SAE and propels the car to 190 km/h.

This GTV, of Italian origin, was bought by the current owner in 2016. Registered with the ASI, it is in lovely, original condition. After purchasing the car, our very meticulous collector of Italian machines had various works carried out in Italy : the floor mats were changed along with the wiper motor, new inertia reel front seat belts were fitted and the front windscreen was replaced. When the GTV arrived in France in 2017, GP Sport in Puiseux undertook a lot of work : the engine was taken out, the head gasket replaced, the cylinders and pistons checked, gaskets in the lower crankcase and gearbox seals replacedů(invoices in the file).

Our collector was careful to source parts that conformed : the dashboard top has recently been changed, along with the rear bumpers. Finally, in 2019, the coil and electronic ignition and the heater motor were changed, and the ventilation system was refurbished. The driveshaft was also replaced.

The car has just been tuned by well-known Alfa Romeo specialist Claude Busson. It is lovely to drive, accelerates well with a gear box that is smooth and easy to use. Sold with its period manuals, this lovely 1750 is ready to let its new owner enjoy the distinctive melody of its twin cam engine.
