Known History

The Porsche we are presenting here is unique. It is the result of a substantial and rigorous plan of work, carried out with the utmost care down to the very last details. Its previous owner, a lover of the Stuttgart marque, asked the renowned specialist Tim Streit to produce a 'one-off' for him, inspired by the 964 Cup and RS models. The car started out as a 964 Carrera 2 manual, delivered in May 1990. In the mid-2010s, it was completely stripped down for its bodywork, upholstery and mechanical components to be rebuilt. A painstaking programme of restoration and improvement work was undertaken, and we invite you to consult the file of photographs with the car to appreciate the extent and professional standard of the car's preparation. The 964's chassis was strengthened in accordance with the recommendations of the Porsche factory, resulting in a car which is radically lighter and sportier. Meanwhile, Mahle pistons and cylinders have allowed an increase in engine capacity to 3.8 litres, and this now produces an impressive 330bhp, a figure confirmed on the test bench. Roadholding is taken care of by Bilstein adjustable shock absorbers and four new 17" Fuchs wheels, shod with Michelin Cup tyres. The car's 'Viper Green' paintwork is also a very stylish reference to the history of the marque. The interior is just as good, with a particularly sporty feel thanks to the two Alcantara-trimmed Recaro seats, a Momo 'Prototipo' steering wheel and a superb 'CAE Shifter' gear lever. A full roll cage and six-point Schroth racing harnesses protect the car's passengers. In May 2018, the car passed the German T▄V safety inspection, while all the modifications which were homologated are specified in the German title papers. The car has covered only 1020km since the work was carried out and is therefore in superb condition. Built to measure, quick and in superb condition, this 964 offers the promise of a unique driving experience.
