Known History

This Alfa Romeo had an exceptional fate since it was sold new to a Parisian lady and registered 8585 KC 75 on July 11, 1960, before being sold on December 7, 1961, to the sister of a very famous French singer, who was a fan of the brand too. The car retained its first registration after being entrusted in December 1963 to the company Alfa Auto Parisienne. The current owner's father purchased it from this company on June 23, 1964. The car was white at the time and will later be repainted in its current red shade. The current owner has fond memories of holiday trips, her legs folded in the small rear space, with an additional suitcase on the luggage rack. Never restored, this car has regularly benefited from work to keep it in good condition: the seats and the soft top have been redone in the past. The engine received a complete overhaul at VEC Racing in February 2004, as can be seen by an invoice. More recently, in 2020, the brakes were redone, the clutch sender and receiver changed and the ignition and filters replaced. During our test drive, we were won over by the car's general patina which bears traces of a lifetime of use. A general overhaul should be considered in order to safely hit the road again. With its elegant Touring bodywork and brilliant Alfa Romeo mechanicals, this car has all the right ingredients to take you back to the hectic 1960s, a time when you could live a bohemian life in elegant styleů
