This is a very nice Volvo Amazon 121 with the beloved and rock-solid B18 engine. The car has been fully restored and overhauled in the past. The Amazon is therefore in beautiful condition and a pleasure to drive.
The body is in very good condition. The sheet metal is beautifully thin and fits nicely everywhere. The car was completely repainted during the restoration. The work was carried out at a high level with a great sense of originality. The paint is also beautifully sprayed. The car stands on beautiful and sporty steel rims surrounded by good tires in the correct sizes. The chrome on the body and bumpers is also in very good condition.
The interior has already been completely reupholstered. The seats have also been refilled. The headliner is still in very good condition and the dashboard also looks great. The instruments and controls are all original and function as they should. The steering wheel and gear knob are also in very good condition and look beautiful.
The technology has been completely overhauled. The engine runs beautifully and pulls smoothly at all speeds. The engine is mated to a four-speed manual transmission. Het betreft hier een hele leuke Volvo Amazon 121 met de geliefde en oerdegelijke B18 motor. De auto is in het verleden al eens volledig gerestaureerd en gereviseerd. De Amazon verkeert dan ook in prachtige conditie en is een genot om mee te rijden.
De carrosserie verkeert in zeer goede staat. Het plaatwerk is prachtig dun en sluit overal mooi aan. De auto is tijdens de restauratie volledig opnieuw gespoten. De werkzaamheden zijn op hoog niveau uitgevoerd met veel gevoel voor originaliteit. De lak is dan ook fraai gespoten. De auto staat op fraaie en sportieve stalen velgen met daaromheen goede banden in de correcte maten. Ook het chroom op de carrosserie en bumpers verkeert in zeer goede staat.
Het interieur is al eens volledig opnieuw bekleed. De stoelen zijn tevens opnieuw gevuld. De hemelbekleding verkeert nog steeds in zeer goede staat en het dashboard ziet er eveneens prachtig uit. De instrumenten en bedieningselementen zijn allen origineel en functioneren zoals het hoort. Het stuur en de pookknop verkeren eveneens in zeer goede staat en zien er prachtig uit.
De techniek is aan een volledige revisie onderworpen. De motor loopt dan ook prachtig en trekt vloeiend bij alle toerentallen. De motor is gekoppeld aan een handgeschakelde transmissie met vier versnellingen. Ook het onderstel en de remmen zijn volledig vernieuwd, de auto heeft dan ook een heerlijk rijgedrag en rijdt precies zoals u dat van een Amazon mag verwachten. De B18 motor is voorzien van een enkele carburateur en levert 66 pk.
De auto wordt geleverd inclusief enkele facturen van de restauratie en omschrijvingen van de werkzaamheden.
