Offlcially introduced at the Paris Salon in October 1975, the 308 GTB's styling was all new but incorporated all of the old magic by blending aspects of the Dino 206/246 with the later 365 GT4/BB. Reminiscent of the Boxer was the dihedral groove at bumper level splitting top and bottom, the plunging nose and the sail panels reaching back to meet a shallower spoiler, while the conical side air intakes and recessed concave rear window were familiar from the Dino.

The Ferrari 308 has a very strong well designed V8 engine which is also mid mouted a true sign of a proper sports car. The engine was fitted with four Webber carborators which enabled the engine to produce a very respectable 288bhp at 7,700 rpm. Allowing plenty of output for the car and making a very responsive and fun car to drive.

The 308 GTB on offer today is a great example of Ferrari in the 80's. The car is finished in the classic Ferrari red with a very complimentary cream interior. The car is reported to drive very well and is supplied with the V5 logbook, an Mot and road tax.

This 308 has the added benifit of being fitted with a Borla Sports exhaust, this improves the overall performance of the vehicle and adds a particually pleasant and sporty note to the engine thus enhancing the driving experience.

In 2004 the 308 was named as one the top sports cars of the 1970's and 80's by Sports Car International Magazine, and this well presented car offeres a great chance to drive away an iconic Ferrari from the 80's without the 1980's price tag. This kind of classic Ferrari driving doesn't does not get better value. !
