It may not seem that long ago to many, but it has been more than thirty years since McLaren presented the first road car. The F1, with a centrally placed seat and space for a passenger on either side, went down in the books as one of the most expensive new cars of the time and a now highly sought after and desirable classic in the making.
After the adventure it was quiet for a while, until McLaren entered into a partnership with Mercedes-Benz for the necessary special models through Formula 1. The third chapter starts in 2009, when the brand comes with the MP4-12C, actually the first model of the McLaren brand as we know it today.
In the years that follow, the different versions and models follow each other in rapid succession. In 2016, the 675LT is the top model in the range. Extra light, extra powerful, extra special and therefore extra expensive. Truly a very special sports car that is not offered very often. We are therefore pleased to be able to offer you this beautiful 675LT, where LT stands for Long Tail. A car that is not only in new condition, but has also only driven its virgin delivery kilometers: 63 pieces to be precise.
The McLaren is built around a carbon monocoque. That part alone weighs only 75 kilograms and is actually the skeleton of the car. Everything you see is built around the lightweight frame. The body is also made of carbon fiber and therefore ultra-light. Its design is typical McLaren: stocky, wide and an alternation of sharp lines and round shapes. Very successful, if you ask us. The Pearl White paint makes the McLaren optically even lighter in weight than it already is, whereby we note that the 675LT is actually 100 kilograms lighter than the 'regular' 650S, on which it is based. Add another 25 hp extra, bringing the power to 675 hp and we immediately figured out the model name.
With this 675LT you will not be able to leave your neighborhood unseen, the supercar attracts a lot of attention, no matter how much you try to achieve the opposite with subdued driving style: the McLaren stands out. For the average person because of the dimensions, design and sound, for enthusiasts because of the 'roof scoop', the air inlet in the roof. This very special option comes from MSO, which stands for McLaren Special Operations. This option is only checked very rarely and is therefore practically not encountered. Not surprising, because together with the MSO carbon boot lid, this option costs more than € 35,000. Furthermore, this McLaren 675LT has a very nice list of options:

You see, the first owner knew quite specifically what he wanted. Sitting is done in fantastically enveloping seats, finished in Almond White Leather with Carbon Black Alcantara. From there you're just a simple push of a button away from a cultivated yet mechanical sounding 3.8 liter V8 with two turbos.
We don't have to explain the sensation that time engine block brings when the right pedal is pressed. The McLaren catapults to unprecedented speeds in a matter of seconds. Yet McLaren has managed to build the car in such a way that, despite the constant awareness that you are in something special, you can also cross the entire country and get out again without fatigue. On winding routes, the McLaren clearly shows where the brand originated: Formula 1. What a sensation, what a steering and what a handling. That is partly due to the great Pirelli Trofeo R tires. Just street legal but it won't come much closer to a circuit tire.
Also reserved for the 675LT are the ceramic brakes, titanium exhaust and weight-saving features such as the wafer-thin windscreen that is a full millimeter thinner than on a 650S.
You are then immediately the first to do so with this copy because there is only 63 kilometers on the digital counter. We are not talking about the trip counter, but actually about the complete mileage. You will understand that the delivery invoice is therefore the most important thing about the history of the car. Of course, the original books and the like are also present.

Het lijkt voor velen misschien niet zo lang geleden maar het is alweer meer dan dertig jaar geleden dat McLaren de eerste straatauto presenteerde. De F1, met centraal geplaatste stoel en aan weerskanten plek voor een passagier, ging de boeken in als één van de duurste nieuwe auto's van destijds en een inmiddels zeer gezochte en begerenswaardige klassieker in spé.
Na het avontuur was het even rustig, tot McLaren door de Formule 1 een samenwerking aan ging met Mercedes-Benz voor de nodige bijzondere modellen. Het derde hoofdstuk start in 2009, als het merk met de MP4-12C komt, eigenlijk het eerste model van het merk McLaren zoals we het vandaag de dag kennen.
In de jaren die daarna komen volgen de verschillende uitvoeringen en modellen elkaar in rap tempo op. In 2016 is de 675LT het topmodel van de reeks. Extra licht, extra krachtig, extra speciaal en daardoor natuurlijk ook extra prijzig. Met recht een zeer bijzondere sportwagen dus die niet heel veel wordt aangeboden. Wij zijn dan ook blij dat we u deze prachtige 675LT, waarbij LT staat voor Long Tail, mogen aanbieden. Een auto die niet alleen in nieuwstaat verkeert maar ook nog eens alleen zijn maagdelijke afleverkilometers heeft gereden: 63 stuks om precies te zijn.
De McLaren is gebouwd rondom een carbon monocoque. Dat deel alleen weegt slechts 75 kilogram en is eigenlijk het skelet van de auto. Alles dat u ziet is rondom het lichtgewicht geraamte gebouwd. Ook de carrosserie is van koolstofvezel en dus ultralicht. De vormgeving ervan is typisch McLaren: gedrongen, breed en een afwisseling van scherpe lijnen en ronde vormen. Zeer geslaagd, als u het ons vraagt. De Pearl White lak maakt de McLaren optisch nog lichter van gewicht dan hij al is, waarbij we opmerken dat de 675LT ook daadwerkelijk 100 kilogram lichter is dan de 'gewone' 650S, waarop hij is gebaseerd. Tel daarbij nog eens 25 pk extra, waardoor het vermogen op 675 pk komt en we hebben direct ook de modelnaam uitgeplozen.
Met deze 675LT zult u niet ongezien uw wijk kunnen verlaten, de supercar trekt ontzettend bekijks, waarbij het niet uitmaakt hoe erg u met ingetogen rijstijl het tegendeel probeert te bewerkstelligen: de McLaren valt op. Bij de gemiddelde persoon al door de afmetingen, de vormgeving en het geluid, bij liefhebbers door de 'roofscoop', de luchtinlaat in het dak dus. Deze zeer bijzondere optie is afkomstig van MSO, dat staat voor McLaren Special Operations. Deze optie is slechts zeer zelden aangevinkt en komt u dus ook praktisch niet tegen. Niet zo vreemd overigens want samen met het MSO carbon kofferdeksel kost deze optie ruim € 35.000. Verder kent deze McLaren 675LT een zeer prettige lijst aan opties:

U ziet het, de eerste eigenaar wist behoorlijk specifiek wat hij wilde. Zitten gebeurt in fantastisch omsluitende stoelen, uitgevoerd in Almond White Leather met Carbon Black Alcantara. Vanaf die plek is bent u nog een eenvoudige druk op de knop verwijderd van een gecultiveerde maar ook mechanisch klinkende 3,8 liter V8 met twee turbo's.
We hoeven niet uit te leggen dat de sensatie die tijd motorblok met zich meebrengt als het rechterpedaal wordt ingedrukt. De McLaren katapulteert in luttele tellen naar ongekende snelheden. Toch heeft McLaren de auto zo weten te bouwen dat u, ondanks het voortdurende besef in iets bijzonders te zitten, ook het hele land kunt doorkruisen en zonder vermoeidheid weer uitstapt. Op bochtige trajecten laat de McLaren duidelijk merken waar het merk zijn oorsprong heeft: de Formule 1. Wat een sensatie, wat een stuurinrichting en wat een wegligging. Dat is overigens mede te danken aan de geweldige Pirelli Trofeo R banden. Gewoon straatlegaal maar heel veel dichter bij een circuitband gaat het niet komen.
Tevens voorbehouden aan de 675LT zijn de keramische remmen, titanium uitlaat en gewicht besparende zaken zoals de flinterdunne voorruit die een volle millimeter dunner is dan bij een 650S.
U bent dan direct de eerste die dat met dit exemplaar doet want er staat slechts 63 kilometer op de digitale teller. We hebben het dan niet over de dagteller maar daadwerkelijk over de complete kilometerstand. U zult begrijpen dat de afleverfactuur dan ook het voornaamste is dat aan historie bij de auto is. Uiteraard zijn ook de originele boeken en dergelijke aanwezig.
