This gorgeous Bentley Azure, built in 2001, was delivered to its Italian owner through the Bentley agency in Rome on the 8th of January 2002. For a new list price of around 470’000 Swiss francs, he received a most luxurious and grand cabriolet powered by a 6.75 litre turbo engine and equipped with an automatic gearbox, an electrically operated soft top and a splendid interior covered in acres of leather and wood. In 2012, with then 72’000 kilometres showing, the cabriolet was acquired by an enthusiast and imported into Switzerland. In 2013, with an additional 1’000 kilometres on the clock, the Bentley was bought by a collector of English luxury automobiles. In 2019 finally, the Azure with now 76’000 kilometres driven, was taken over by the 4th and so far last registered keeper. A full service booklet as well as some maintenance records are testimony to the careful maintenance the car has enjoyed. Recently the entire soft top hydraulics were overhauled and equipped with more durable steel braided hydraulic lines. In its beautiful combination of “Black Sapphire” with a leather interior in “Tangier” and only 78’300 kilometres driven, the Azure is in very good and well maintained original condition. The last MOT was completed in May 2023.
