GTB Quattrovalvole
| The 308 GTB Quattrovalvole, the last and final evolution off the legendary 308 series originally presented in 1975, was built in only 748 examples and is today a very rare sight indeed. The timeless elegant Pininfarina coachwork and the sound of its flat crank 2.9 litre V8 delivering 240 horsepower, are very representative of a super sports car of its time. The basic but very well laid out interior welcomes the driver with the most evocative gear shift gate in history. The car we have on offer was handed over to its first owner by the sports garage Bruno Wyss in Zofingen on the 19th of July 1985 and registered for the first time on the 22nd of the same month. Towards the end of the 90s to 308 was laid up for some time before it was taken over by an Italian sports car enthusiast in Bern in 2005. As can be seen in the service booklet and the receipts available since 2005, the car was always maintained by marque specialists. The last cambelt change was completed in September 2019 at 60’920 kilometres and the latest service including a change of the fuel pump and the ignition leads was completed in February 2022. With probably only four owners and 63’500 kilometres driven, the Ferrari is in very good and exceedingly well maintained original condition and will be sold with the last veteran MOT completed in September 2019.
