C Cabriolet
| This lovely 356 Cabriolet was delivered on the 9th November 1964 to the French importer Sonauto and handed over to the first owner in Paris on the 25th November of the same year. In 1972 the lady-owner sold the car to the Parisian Porsche agent Gauthier who kept the Cabriolet in his private collection for the next 33 years. In 2005 the car, then showing a mere 95’000 kilometres, was sold to an enthusiast in Arles. He had the coachwork restored and repainted in its original colour slate-grey (6401K). At the same time the matching numbers engine was completely overhauled. The interior in light brown leather still presents itself in the original condition with a lovely patina but the carpets and the soft top were replaced. In addition the car boasts an exceedingly rare and unrestored Karmann hardtop. In 2007 the Porsche was taken over by a further owner and stored in his collection. In 2022 finally the vendor took over the 356 and imported it into Switzerland, followed by a fresh MOT. This 356 C is in very good overall condition and will be handed to a new owner with the last veteran MOT completed in November 2022.
