BMW 520i
| ![CDATA[ The BMW E39 is the fourth generation of the BMW 5 Series range of executive cars, which was manufactured from 1995 to 2004. It was launched in the saloon body style, with the estate body style (marketed as ‘Touring’) introduced in 1996. The E39 was replaced by the E60 5 Series in 2003 and E39 Touring models remained in production until May 2004. The proportion of chassis components using aluminium significantly increased for the E39, and it was the first 5 Series to use aluminium for all major components in the front suspension or any in the rear. It was also the first 5 Series where a four-cylinder diesel engine was available. This beautifully presented 520i is offered in blue and complemented by a full grey trim with the usual BMW refinements. In single family ownership since its delivery on 27th October 1997, initially registered to the husband before transferring to his wife, our vendor, in July 2022. This example boasts four main dealer services and is supplied with a letter of validation from Coopers of Chobham confirming the mileage to be warranted. Specified with the automatic gearbox, these 2.0 litre, straight-six engines are not only pleasant and smooth to drive but the E39 is also a very well built 5 Series with many having surpassed over 200,000 miles, let alone a poultry 17,000. Supplied with three keys, the original dealer pack and MoT test certificate this car is clearly a cherished example. Viewing is recommended for such a car offered without reserve. Guide Price £6,000-£10,000
