MG TB, year 1939. Colour black with a blue leather interior and a black canvas soft top.

The automobile was fully restored in the years 2001/2002. The restorer chose to give this patrol car a slightly used patina: absolutely perfect! This MG TB with registration GKL 70 was in service at the East Kent County Constabulary (England) from October 17 1939 until January 1 1946. Then the car was sold to the USA where it was painted red. After 55 years the car returned to England and it was fully restored and overhauled.

In 2006 the engine was modified to run on lead free petrol and a 'fast road' specification camshaft was fitted. In January 2007 this special car was bought by us and shipped to the Netherlands. This original MG TB police patrol car comes with a lot of documentation and photo's. The MG TB is the scarcest MG T-type, only 379 have been built.
