A very iconic classic, the Jaguar E-type. Elegant, sporty, and oozing with class. In general, it can be said that the first series of the sports car introduced in 1961 can be regarded as being the most favourite. It's the version as Malcolm Sayer originally intended it, with the small taillights sited above the bumper.
This concerns a restored first series E-type that was first admitted to public roads on February 28, 1964. This means that under the hood, there's a very powerful 3.8-liter six-cylinder engine with three SU carburettors. Good for 265 hp and a top speed of up to 241 km/h. However, it's the smooth and impressive way in which the ear-pleasing six-cylinder engine does its job that stands out. The substantial power is transferred to the rear wheels through a manual four-speed gearbox, delightful! When you open the enormous hood, you have a view of a fantastic engine block. The polished valve cover on the gold-coloured engine block, the incredibly beautiful carburettors: a magnificent power source.
The E-type has been beautifully restored, to an excellent quality, and in a popular colour combination. The bodywork is in excellent condition. The panel gaps are as they should be, and the bodywork is evenly thin throughout. The car stands on beautiful chrome wire wheels fitted with good tires in the correct sizes. The chrome on the bumpers, lighting, trim, door handles, everything is as expected for a car of this caliber. The car has, of course, been completely repainted, and the dark red metallic paint looks stunning.
This Jag drives fantastically. The brakes perform just as well, and the same goes for the gearbox. Although we advise you to keep this car in this beautiful condition, there's one thing we want to emphasise even more: driving is the most enjoyable experience you will have with this car! A well-maintained chassis makes an E-type delivers exceptionally well in the handling department!
The interior is done in a beautiful natural tone and upholstered with lovely leather and materials. The upholstery has been chosen very stylishly, resulting in the leather being in beautiful condition. The rest of the interior, from floor covering to dashboard, gauges, and controls, is also very pleasing to the eye.
So, a magnificent E-type, which comes with documentation in the form of a thick folder of maintenance invoices, photos of the restoration, and various documentation. In short, a beautiful fully restored Jaguar E-Type Series 1 3.8 Coupe that's ready for many years of limitless E-type driving pleasure.

Een zeer sprekende klassieker, de Jaguar E-type. Elegant, sportief en met veel klasse. Over het algemeen kan worden gezegd dat de eerste serie van de in 1961 geïntroduceerde sportwagen als meest geliefd kan worden bestempeld. Het is de versie hoe Malcolm Sayer hem origineel bedoelde, met de kleine achterlichten boven de bumper geplaatst.
Het betreft hier een gerestaureerde eerste serie E-type die voor het eerst werd aan de openbare weg werd toegelaten op 28 februari 1964. Dat wil zeggen dat er onder de motorkap een zeer krachtige 3,8 liter zescilinder met drie SU-carburateurs ligt. Goed voor 265 pk en een topsnelheid van maar liefst 241 km/u. Toch is het vooral de soepele en indrukwekkende manier waarop de oorstrelende zescilinder zijn werk doet dat opvalt. Het flinke vermogen wordt bij via een handgeschakelde vierversnellingsbak naar de achterwielen gebracht, heerlijk! Opent u de enorme motorkap naar voren dan heeft u zicht op een fantastisch motorblok. Het gepolijste kleppendeksel op het in goudkleur uitgevoerd motorblok, de ontzettend mooie carburateurs: een schitterende krachtbron.
De E-type is fraai gerestaureerd, naar een uitstekende kwaliteit en in een geliefde kleurcombinatie. Het plaatwerk verkeert in een uitstekende conditie. De passingen zijn zoals ze horen te zijn en het plaatwerk is overal mooi dun. De auto staat op prachtige verchroomde spaakwielen die zijn voorzien van goede banden in de correcte maten. Het chroom op de bumpers, de verlichting, de sierlijsten, de deurklinken, alles is zoals u verwacht bij een auto van dit kaliber. De auto is uiteraard volledig opnieuw gespoten en de donkerrode metallic lak ziet er dan ook prachtig uit.
Rijden doet deze Jag fantastisch. Remmen overigens net zo goed, hetzelfde geldt ook voor het schakelen. Hoewel we u adviseren deze auto in deze prachtige conditie te houden is er één ding dat we u nóg meer op het hart willen drukken: rijden is het allerleukste met deze auto! Wat stuurt zo'n E-type met een gezond onderstel toch ontzettend goed!
Het interieur is uitgevoerd in een prachtige natureltint en bekleed met mooie leersoorten en materialen. De bekleding is zeer stijlvol gekozen, waardoor het leder in een prachtige staat verkeert. Ook de rest van het interieur, van vloerbekleding tot dashboard, meters en bedieningselementen is zeer mooi om te zien.
Een schitterende E-type dus, die komt met documentatie in de vorm van een dikke ordner aan onderhoudsfacturen, foto's van de restauratie en diverse documentatie. Kortom een prachtige volledig gerestaureerde Jaguar E-Type Series 1 3.8 Coupé die klaar is voor vele jaren onbegrensd E-type rijplezier.
