We are pleased to present this beautifully fully body-off restored Volkswagen Beetle Oval type 1/11 from April 1955, which was delivered new in Sweden. This particular car has been sympathetically restored, in keeping with its origins. The black paintwork looks beautiful. The beautiful bodywork has beautifully thin and correctly aligned sheet metal.
Naturally equipped with the correct historic rims and the correct size tires. All light work is in beautiful condition. The oval rear window and more horizontally placed headlights characterize this car, hence the name “Oval” Beetle.
This car also benefits from a number of upgrades that Volkswagen has introduced in recent years. The transmission has synchronized rings on the 2nd, 3rd and 4th gears and the drum brakes are all hydraulically upgraded. The engine and gearbox have been completely rebuilt and are in perfect condition.
The smooth-running matching 4-cylinder boxer engine with double carburettors has been completely overhauled and emits that typical Beetle sound through its stainless steel exhaust. The operation of the gearbox is precise and smooth. The chassis and underbody are in absolutely new condition, unbelievable!
To finish this story we have to visit the fantastic interior of the car.
During the restoration, the interior upholstery was partly replaced, all carpets and the front seats were reupholstered, as was the headliner, and this was done in a very sympathetic manner, in keeping with the origin of the car and to a high standard. This Beetle looks like it just rolled off the production line. In short, no effort has been spared to get a fantastically restored Volkswagen Beetle Oval type 1/11 in this top condition, which is supplied with its original maintenance and instruction booklet and where the appraisal report concludes with excellent!

Met genoegen presenteren wij deze prachtig volledig body-off gerestaureerde Volkswagen Kever Oval type 1/11 uit april 1955 welke nieuw in Zweden werd geleverd. Deze specifieke auto is op sympathieke wijze gerestaureerd, in overeenstemming met zijn oorsprong. Het zwarte lakwerk ziet er prachtig uit. De fraaie carrosserie heeft mooi dun en correct uitgelijnd plaatwerk.
Uiteraard voorzien van de juiste historische velgen en de juiste maat banden. Al het lichte werk is in een prachtige staat. De ovale achterruit en meer horizontaal geplaatste koplampen kenmerken deze auto, vandaar de naam “Ovale” Kever.
Deze auto profiteert ook van een aantal upgrades die Volkswagen de afgelopen jaren heeft geïntroduceerd. De transmissie heeft gesynchroniseerde ringen op de 2e, 3e en 4e versnelling en de trommelremmen zijn allemaal hydraulisch verbeterd. De motor en versnellingsbak zijn volledig herbouwd en verkeren in perfecte staat.
De soepel lopende matching 4 cilinder boxermotor met dubbele carburateurs is volledig gereviseerd en laat dat door zijn roestvrij stalen uitlaat typische Kevergeluid horen. De werking van de versnellingsbak is nauwkeurig en soepel. Het chassis en de onderzijde verkeren in een absolute nieuwstaat, ongelofelijk!
Om dit verhaal af te ronden moeten we het fantastische interieur van de auto bezoeken.
Tijdens de restauratie werd de interieurbekleding deels vervangen, zo werden alle tapijten en de voorstoelen opnieuw bekleed zo ook de hemelbekleding en dit gebeurde op een zeer sympathieke wijze, in overeenstemming met de herkomst van de auto en volgens een hoge standaard. Deze Kever ziet eruit alsof hij net van de productielijn is gerold. Kortom kosten nog moeite zijn gespaard om een fantastisch gerestaureerde Volkswagen Kever Oval type 1/11 in deze top conditie te krijgen die met zijn originele onderhoud en instructie boekje word geleverd en waarbij het taxatie rapport afsluit met uitmuntend!
