The Ghibli SS was introduced in 1969. The new engine had a capacity of 4,930 cc and was rated at 335 PS (246 kW; 330 hp) at 5,500 rpm and 481 N⋅m of torque at 4,000 rpm. With a top speed of 280 km/h (174 mph), it was the fastest Maserati road car ever produced at the time. SS models have an additional /49 designation (e.g. AM115/49). A Spyder version was introduced the same year. Total production was 45 Spyders and 425 coupes.
Specifications
The Ghibli used a tubular frame with a spot-welded body. The front suspension used the double wishbone type, coaxial dampers and coil springs, and an anti-roll bar. At the rear there was a live axle on semi-elliptic springs, with a single longitudinal torque arm, hydraulic dampers and an anti-roll bar. Magnesium wheels were standard, originally fitted with Pirelli Cinturato 205 VR15 tires until 1972, when this changed to 215/70VR15 Pirelli Cinturato CN12, while Borrani wire wheels were optional. Even by the standards of its time and class, the car consumed large amounts of fuel, but Maserati fitted the car with two independent 50 liter fuel tanks, which could be filled via side valves.
This Ghibli presented here is equipped with an automatic gearbox, which makes the car very special. The low mileage of 32 thousand miles is remarkable. This is the real mileage. The car was delivered in the USA after which it went to England and was then transported to Switzerland and then ended up in Germany. There is an appraisal report included and the condition is near concours. The technical condition of the car is excellent and difficult to find in today's market. Met een topsnelheid van 280 km/u (174 mph) was dit destijds de snelste Maserati-straatauto ooit geproduceerd. SS-modellen hebben een extra /49-aanduiding (bijv. AM115/49). In hetzelfde jaar werd een Spyder-versie geïntroduceerd. De totale productie bedroeg 45 Spyders en 425 coupés.
Specificaties
De Ghibli gebruikte een buizenframe met een gepuntlaste carrosserie. De voorwielophanging maakte gebruik van het dubbele wishbone-type, coaxiale dempers en schroefveren, en een stabilisatorstang. Aan de achterzijde bevond zich een starre as op semi-elliptische veren, met een enkele longitudinale koppelarm, hydraulische dempers en een stabilisatorstang. Magnesiumwielen waren standaard, oorspronkelijk uitgerust met Pirelli Cinturato 205 VR15-banden tot 1972, toen deze veranderde in 215/70VR15 Pirelli Cinturato CN12, terwijl Borrani spaakwielen optioneel waren. Zelfs naar de maatstaven van zijn tijd en klasse verbruikte de auto grote hoeveelheden brandstof, maar Maserati voorzag de auto van twee onafhankelijke brandstoftanks van 50 liter, die via kleppen aan de zijkant konden worden gevuld.
Deze hier gepresenteerde Ghibli is uitgerust met een automatische versnellingsbak wat de auto zeer bijzonder maakt. Opmerkelijk is de lage km-stand van 32 duizend miles. Dit is de echte km stand. De auto is in de USA uitgeleverd waarna hij naar Engeland is gegaan om vervolgens naar Zwitserland getransporteerd te worden en daarna in Duitsland te eindigen. Er zit een taxatie rapport bij en de toestand is near Concours. De technische staat van de auto is uitmuntent en moeilijk te vinden in de hedendaagse markt. Een prachtige Maserati voor de echte liefhebber.

De showroom is geopend van woensdag tot en met vrijdag van 10:00 tot 17:00, zaterdags van 09.00 uur tot 16.00 uur. Wij zitten 25 km van de Duitse grens en zijn heel gemakkelijk bereikbaar via de snelweg.
We kunnen ook transport voor de auto regelen over de hele wereld.---------------

Der Showroom ist von Mittwoch bis Freitag von 10:00 bis 17:00 Uhr geöffnet, sammstags von 09.00 uhr bis 16.00 uhr.. Wir befinden uns 25 km von der deutschen Grenze entfernt und sind sehr gut über die Autobahn zu erreichen.
Wir können auch den Transport des Autos in die ganze Welt arrangieren. -----------

The showroom is open from Wednesday to friday from 10:00 to 17:00 and saturday from 09.00 hour til 16.00 hour.. We are located 25 km from the German border and are very easily accessible by motorway.
We can also arrange transportation for the car all over the world.----------
