We are pleased to offer USA model 1972 Ferrari 365 GTB/4 s/n 14895, finished in gorgeous new Fly Yellow paint with an all-new black leather interior with black carpets. Only 32,367 miles from new. In 2007-2010 this Daytona was treated to what can easily be a platinum quality restoration with expert detail work to every component on the car. New paint over bare metal. New leather, new door panels, new carpets, dash redone. All replaceable brakes, shock and suspension components are rebuilt or new. New $9,500 Ansa exhaust system. All suspension arms and components are cadmium plated or powder coated to a much higher standard than when new. Fully detailed and painted frame and floor. The engine has been fully serviced and runs and drives as new with a silky smooth rebuilt transaxle. The complete engine, chassis, suspension, brakes and underhood area are all fully rebuilt and beautifully detailed. Body, paint and chassis restoration by Frank Zucchi restorations, Livermore, CA for a total of $48,808.03 and mechanical and interior restoration by Geoff Provo of GP Enterprise, Redwood City, CA, for a total of $178,207.27. All invoices on file.

We sold this Daytona to the current owner in June, 2010, only 1,046 miles ago. The current owner has added the correct Magnetti Marelli ignition boxes and a correct pouch and books, not shown in these photos. Complete with a beautiful replica tool roll and a full set of tools, as needed for a “platinum level” Ferrari. 365 GTB/4 s/n 14895 is a much better-than-new 365 GTB/4 with a well documented restoration and ownership history back to the selling dealer. 1982 – 1991, listed in the Ferrari Owner’s Club roster by David Pinn, San Jose, CA.

 

2004, February, offered for sale. Still titled in Pinn’s name, had not been registered or licensed since 1988. 30,800 miles.

 

2004, 24 Feb., offered on eBay, Los Gatos, CA min. 30,835 miles; Red with Black Leather Seats. Paint is marginal with cracking in some areas. There does not appear to be any major damage or rust anywhere. Interior original and clean; all parts and instrumentation there. Glass in good condition. Engine appears to be original with after market CD system. Car runs well. Has alloy knockoffs, tool kit has some non original tools. Excellent restorable car.

 

2004, sold to Terry Price, a dealer, Gazelle CA. Basic restoration work started.

 

2006, 11 Nov., offered on eBay by Autohaus Los Gatos, Campbell CA:

 

Miles: 30,907. Leather Seats, Air Conditioning, Power Windows. Last owner for over 30 years. A local car. New dash mouse hair. Just serviced. Drives as strong as any out there. Paint is old and flawed. California car from new.
