This Giulia Sprint GT Veloce 1967 was sold new as a standard street car in red with black vinyl interior to Alfa Romeo of Frankfurt Germany on 19 may 1967 (40 years ago!). The car then went to the USA, probably when still new. In 1991 it was imported into Holland from Texas. Bought by the present owner, a gentleman racing driver, in 1995 from well known Alfa racing driver Bob van der Sluis. The current owner had the very good straight and rustfree car completely raceprepared by well known Dutch Italian car specialist AME Engineering. It has 2 litre mechanics (160-170 bhp tuned ex Squadra Bianca Alfa Romeo engine) and big brakes, safety fuel tank, sports suspension, certified roll cage etc. After 2 seasons in the Alfa Trofeo the car was stored in his garage. Now freshly serviced by AME it is ready for a new enthusiast as the owner has moved to far more powerful cars. It can be sold either as is in full racetrim or with complete standard interior/bumpers/engine/chrome parts by seperate negotiation. This fantastic and inexpensive racecar has USA title (registered 1968) and Dutch customs papers, making street legal use possible. Fantastic race or track day car!
