Best in Class 1994 Pebble Beach!

The DB2/4 model was introduced in October 1953 and ran through October 1955. There were a total of 565 cars produced in that time frame. The improvements to this model over the DB2 were an enlarged interior as well as two small rear jump seats, a one piece windscreen and proper bumpers were fitted. They extended the roofline and made a larger rear window and longer rear fenders, which gave a fuller appearance. This car was delivered as a chassis only to Allemano in Italy. Serafino Allemano, whose coachworks was in Turin, started in 1935 and built many bodies for many different companies. It is the only DB2/4 with this coachwork. It also has the upgraded VB6J - 3.0 liter engine which was an increase over the standard 2.6 motor. Of the 565 total cars made 73 were drop head coupes, 8 were Bertone and a few others were built by specialty companies.
