This smart competition 911 would make an excellent entry into the many historic race series currently running in the UK and throughout Europe. The car was manufactured in November 1976 and purchased by the current owner in 1990. The car was converted for racing by Alan Winkleman of Preparacing in 1993 and first raced in the Porsche Production Championship in 1994.

From 1994 onwards the car competed in the Porsche Production Championship with a 3rd overall in the Porsche Classic Championship in 1999 and runner up in the championship in 2003 and champion in 2004. 2005 brought further success with most race wins in the championship with 2006 bringing Class 2 winner and championship runner up.

This year the car had a single outing at Snetterton on April 21st & 22nd and achieved class pole and two race wins.

To keep this car at the sharp end of the grid the car has had constant mechanical attention including a complete body and chassis overhaul in 1999 by Parr Motorsport. In 2002 the car underwent a complete engine inspection and overhaul. In 2004 the car received a full respray in 'Blood Orange', a gearbox rebuild, oil pipes, top end engine rebuild and Divlar engine studs, new torsion bars, spring plates and new brake calipers. Constant preparation consisted of regular maintenance in 2005 with a new competition clutch in 2006 along with a top end rebuild. Earlier this year the car underwent general race preparation and was fitted with new driveshafts and a fresh MoT valid until March 2008. Supplied with a V5 document, old MoT's from 1990, this road legal car is competitive, well prepared and ready to race.
