Known History

This vehicle is available in our Pleasanton Showroom. Contact us at 800-600-2262 or sales@specialtysales.com.  We are pleased to present this incredibly sharp '85 Porsche 911 Carrera Cabriolet finished in Guards Red over Gray leather interior, powered by its 3.2L H6 and making its way through traffic via a crisp 5 speed manual transmission. For the 1985 model year, Porsche offered the whale tail "turbo appearance" body, giving it a much faster---and more expensive---look without having to shell out the extra money for performance that is mostly unusable in real life. This particular Cabriolet has only had two owners, with our current consignor having had the car since 1998, and went to great lengths to maintain it in meticulous fashion. Sitting on brand new tires, this car has an aggressively and extensively upgraded stereo system that came at an owner-estimated cost of more than $3,000 (installed by Pacific Stereo, in Fremont, CA) and it bellows out sound that is worth every penny of that expense. Also updated with white-face gauges circa 1999, a newer shift knob and Momo steering wheel and complete with factory air conditioning, power windows and door locks and Porsche wheels.
