Cars & Coffee Monaco was Pure Header for Petrolheads

The sixteenth edition of Cars & Coffee Monaco was held on Sunday, April 22nd at Opéra de Monte-Carlo, just the other side of the Casino de Monte-Carlo, with in bonus an amazing view on the Mediterranean Sea.

The range of cars was very wide as usual, as the organizers Romuald & Jean-Nicolas are very keen on. Enthusiasts, car-spotters and entrants have shared a coffee brought by Agréablement Vôtre’s Jean-Charles and his neon-yellow sneakers among supercars and vintage cars like very rare (25 units only made) McLaren MSO HS, the latest Ferrari 812 Superfast looking good in red, DeLorean DMC-12, Ferrari F40, Lamborghini Countach, Renault 5 Turbo 2, McLaren 720S, an original Fiat 500 Abarth, Porsche 356A Speedster, Mercedes AMG GTs... An original Alpine A110 was there too in a great Renault livery, after the new Alpine A110 had entered on the previous Cars & Coffee Monaco back in December 2017, months before its first delivery. It was driven by its engineer David Twohig, that entrants were happy to chat with about this long awaited and amazing car. Motorsports nuts will also have recognized legendary Claude Sage with his new Honda NSX (the first that had been delivered in Europe) and DTM driver Augusto Farfus, like sometimes Allan McNish or Nico Rosberg.

But on the top of the sixty great cars entering, the cherry on the cake was the incredible Apollo IE (for Intensa Emozione) brought by Apollo factory, as just like the Alpine A110 was back in December for Cars & Coffee Monaco #15, the IE has not been released and delivered yet. Full of angles, this beast seems to come straight from Le Mans, with a full carbon body and a wing bigger than any Batmobile to date. In this purple color with gold rims, it’s just insane. When the naturally aspirated V12 of 780 horsepower roars through the three exhausts, you wonder how this can have been homologated in terms of sound. Only 10 cars will be made.

At 1:00 PM, after three hours of pure heaven for petrolheads, all entrants went to have lunch at Café de Paris, the other side of the Casino Square, because all these smiles on your face starves you!
