The first stage of the Ferrari 60 Relay on the Asiatic continent was held on 5th February in Singapore, where it was received warm-heartedly. In this exotic country in the Far East many events with numerous cars were held in honour of the anniversary of the Prancing Horse, while the cars looked especially beautiful in front of the Fullerton Hotel and the Ferrari dealership. After introducing speeches by local Ferrari dealer Mr. Tan, the Italian Ambassador Folco De Luca Gabrielli and the President of Singapore's Ferrari Owners' Club Mattiacci, the day in Asia's capital of technology ended with a photo-shoot of the cars, which had taken part in this stage of the Tour.

At the end of the evening over 80 cars from Ferrari were sitting on the square in front of the former St. James industrial site, where today one can find many fashionable clubs. For the participants it was also an opportunity to see all the cars from Maranello: the ones from the most recent production such as the F430 and 599 GTB Fiorano, but also some jewels from the history of the house with the Prancing Horse, including some cars from the limited editions such as the Enzo Ferrari and F50.

The Tour passed Malaysia in the direction of Kuala Lumpur driving over the roads through the forest, creating some kind of "Tropical Rally", in which around 20 cars from Ferrari participated without having the slightest problem on this difficult kind of terrain. The participants and the Relay team drove more than 350 kilometres in their cars to get from Singapore to Malaysia's capital - a very unusual context for the cars with the Prancing Horse, but which was enthusiastically embraced. The day's stage ended in the evening with an elegant event, in which Ambassador Alessandro Busacca and Head of the Communications Department of Ferrari Asia Pacific, Matteo Bonciani, were present.

Hong Kong was the third appointment for the Ferrari 60 Relay in Asia and the Tour was welcomed with incredible professionalism and impeccable organization. In Hong Kong the baton was passed on by the participants who had been drawn after every photo-session. The relay participants enjoyed this quite unusual method and they later took part in the gala evening at the marvellous Clear Water Bay.
