Javan Sports Cars will show a current Javan R1 at the Goodwood Festival of Speed, as part of the Niche Vehicle Network's Stand (Stand 7) and announce the development of an all new car for 2012 featuring a revolutionary aluminium chassis designed to accommodate three drivetrain layouts without compromise – Performance combustion engines, Hybrid and all electric configurations.

The Next Generation Javan for 2012

Javan Sports Cars Ltd have developed a completely new chassis to cater for the special demands of its owners, from both the UK and USA markets where interest in Hybrid and Electric drivetrains have been continuous. Not wanting to follow the route of many other car makers, of finding ways to fit these drivetrains into their existing chassis, JSC has embarked on the design and development of a chassis for 2012 that would incorporate the three main drivetrain layouts (High Performance Combustion 4 & 6 cylinder, Hybrid, All electric), to ensure that there are no compromises in handling, power delivery and driver experience, and ensuring the final build costs will be kept sensible for those really wanting hybrid / Electric solutions in their sports cars.

The development of the Next Generation of the Javan sports car is now being jointly funded through a collaborative program in association with the Niche Vehicle Network, which will see the design of the new chassis ready for launch in 2012.
