Although there are still another three months left until the actual event, it can already be predicted: The Jim Clark-Revival from 26. to 30. April 2007 is going to be a Mecca for all friends of historic racing sport and automobile clubs from Germany and all over Europe.

The five-day programme of the Race Week is providing for no less than 18 racing series with altogether 650 participating vehicles at the starting line – including as well attractive modern series such as the ATS Formula 3 Cup and the Formula 1 cars built up to 2003 of the EuroBOSS series.

The attempt to launch the longest oldtimer parade of the world to achieve an entry in the Guinness Book of World Records is set for Saturday night (28. April 2007, starting at 19:00 hours) – where more than 1000 vehicles are expected to participate. This giant gathering offers an excellent chance for owners of “cultural assets on wheels” to finally explicitly demonstrate their point of view in regards to the restrictions of politics. Hereby they can convince politicians and government officials to grant more liberal regulations for veteran- and vintage cars, so as to prevent thousands of manifestations of German Automobile History to be condemned to a disdainful existence of immobility.

On the last weekend in April the racing town of Hockenheim, therefore, will be the scene of the greatest meet of classics this year worldwide – befitting the festivities of the Hockenheimring on occasion of its 75. Anniversary.

From Thursday 26 April to Monday 30 April, the following racing series, among many others, are going to offer exciting motor sports with phenomenal drifts, neck and neck races and extremely narrow results: ATS Formula 3 Cup (current German F3 Championship), CFFC Formula Ford, Classic Masters, EuroBOSS (modern Formula-1-racing cars), European Formula 2 Club, FIA Lurani Trophy (Formula Junior), FIA Thoroughbred Grand Prix Cars (historic F-1), GTC-TC’71 and GTC-TC’81 (historic GT and Touring Cars), Historic Formula V, HRA German Open (Monoposti and two-seater racing sportscars), LO Formula Renault 2.0 (International Championship), Orwell SuperSportsCup (sports phototypes with 1.000 HP), Sports Car Challenge/Radical RaceCup (racing sportscars); Yokohama FHR paragon Cup (3-hour long-distance race for historic GT and Touring Cars on Monday).

Apart from that, the “Jim Clark Tourist Tour” through the delightful local region is planned for Saturday afternoon – with the active support of the “Metropolregion of Rhein-Neckar”.

For those who want to experience the Jim Clark-Revival in its most exclusive form, the organizer is offering a VIP-package – which includes “pitwalk” reserved seats in the Drivers’ Lounge, etc. etc.
