The Ferrari 166 MM won in 1949 the Mille Miglia and the same year Luigi Chinetti finished in the very same car the 24h Le Mans 1st, in a similar car Luigi Chinetti won the 24h Spa race, this very same car won in 1950 at Studebaker Proving Grounds, Elkhart Lake and Palm Springs driven by Jim Kimberly.



Roberto Vallone won the GP Naples, Giro dell'Umbria, the Coppa d'Oro delle Dolomiti and the Fasano hillclimb. Antonio Stagnoli won in 1950 the Coppa InterEuropa in Monza, Parma-Poggio di Berceto hillclimb, Aosta-Gran San Bernardo hillclimb ... to name just a few.The 166 MM was the car to beat and it was the building base for Ferraris coming success.
