Bonhams Motoring, the dedicated classic and collector’s car division of the international auction house, has strengthened its specialist team with the appointment of Paul Darvill as senior European sales specialist, with immediate effect.

Notable highlights have included overseeing the sale of The Sáragga Collection in Portugal, September 2019, and consigning the famous ex-Leo Kinnunen Porsche 911 Carrera RS 2.7 Lightweight in Monaco in 2018.

A graduate of the University of Bath, Paul also studied international relations at Sciences Po in Paris and is a fluent French speaker. He will be responsible for building on the success of Bonhams’ European sales, including this year’s auctions in Germany, Switzerland and Belgium, and will split his time between the company’s New Bond Street offices in London and Bonhams Paris office at 4 rue de la Paix.

James Knight, Bonhams Group Motoring Chairman, said: “We are delighted that Paul has joined Bonhams. He is a well-liked and well-respected figure in the industry and is a welcome addition to our global motoring team.”
