Atlanta Concours d'Elegance
Following a successful ‘coming out’ party on the grounds of Chateau Elan in Braselton, the Atlanta Concours d’Elegance is moving forward with an even higher level of Concours tradition and programs slated for its second year, scheduled for September 30 – October 1st, 2017 at the same prestigious location – with an increase in sponsorship levels expected to nearly double its 2016 impact, and a further expanse in the quality cars stemming from 18 states, as well as Eastern Canada.

According to Co-Chairman Harry Krix, the inaugural Atlanta event took on the classic car world with conviction and not only boasted its own field of more than 150 vehicles of provenance, but awarded its highest honors to two significant cars that have earned former class-winning entrée from the likes of Pebble Beach, Meadowbrook and Amelia Island -- a 1909 Rolls Royce Silver Ghost, owned by DeNean Stafford III of Tifton, GA which earned ‘Best of Show,’ and Birmingham Alabama’s Elton Steven’s and his 1961 Maserati Frua, earning Post-War ‘Best of Show.’

“For 2017, we’ve already begun to secure some significant collections,” said Krix. “And between retaining world class judges, as well as our Honorary Head Judge Keith Martin, publisher of Sports Car Market magazine, we’re vying to create a program that offers not only world-class cars that would be eligible for top awards at any Concours in the world, but world-class individuals too.”

Co-chairmen Harry Krix and Bill Wallet are proud to continue building a substantial classic car show and

premier automotive event within the greater metropolitan Atlanta area.
