The Bentley Drivers Club of Australia will showcase a dozen or more of these incredible pre-War Bentleys alongside the cream of Victoria’s veteran, vintage and classic car clubs at this year’s Kalorama Rally. The Rally, the longest-running vintage motoring event in Victoria, Australia, will take place at the Kalorama Memorial Reserve, just 55km east of Melbourne, on Sunday 5 March, with up to 300 cars and motorcycles of yesteryear on display.

Founded in 1956 by the Vintage Sports Car, Bentley Drivers and Alvis Clubs, the Kalorama Rally has its origins as a gymkhana run in conjunction with The Argus Floral Festival, and today represents as a vintage show and shine in support of the Kalorama Country Fire Authority (CFA). In March, the Kalorama Rally celebrates its 65th anniversary, the event running continuously throughout that time, with the exception of 2020 and 2021, due to pandemic restrictions. With almost 1,000 visitors annually, the event has, over the last 10 years, successfully raised more than $35,000 for the Kalorama CFA.

This year, the Kalorama Rally will enhance its visitor experience with the inclusion of a selection of spunky vintage caravans serving street food from local, Yarra Ranges caterers, roaming street theatre and a special “Drivers’ Club” for those displaying their cars over the day.

Everyone is welcome at the Kalorama Rally -you don’t even need to have a vintage car! Walk up visitor tickets are $10 per person on the day, with children under 16 years of age admitted for free. A free program is included in the admission price, with free visitor parking. All proceeds raised are in support of the Kalorama CFA.
