An impressive resto-mod that delivers on every level, this sweet Camaro is the kind of car EVERYONE enjoys. It cruises like a carriage, sprints like a running back and simply oozes the style and swagger that's made first generation F-Bodies the stuff of legend. Looking for a sweet muscle car that'll be fun every day you own it? Check out this awesome Chevy! The beneficiary of a frame-off, nut-and-bolt restoration that relieved it of drab Dover White digs, this solid F1 presently sports a vivid coat of Synergy Green sheen. That sheen is reflected on solid metal that was stripped bare and massaged to precision. Speaking of metal, Metallic Black Rally Stripes play well with requisite D80 spoilers. Polished bumpers and polished window frames complement a polished mirror and chrome-trimmed emblems. Mods are limited to a shaved grille, a Cowl Induction Hood and painted drip rails. And ultimately, it all adds up to one very well done classic that's ready to be the center of attention both on the road and at the show. Pop this coupe's peaked hood and you'll find 350 cubic inches of proven Chevrolet small block. Oxygen enters the combustion chambers through a polished Edelbrock air cleaner, which balances a trick bowtie spinner on a 600cfm Edelbrock carburetor. That carb rides a polished Edelbrock Performer intake, which feeds re-machined heads that cap a .030 overbore with polished Edelbrock valve covers. At the back of that intake, an aftermarket HEI distributor, geared to a hydraulic Comp Thumpr cam, shoots spark through loomed MSD Super Conductor plug wires. Below those wires, Hooker Competition long-tubes help create a constant stream torque. An aluminum, 4-core radiator flows coolant past two electric puller fans and a handsome March serpentine drive, which spins a polished Edelbrock water pump between a polished AC compressor and a polished alternator. Green is as green does, with a body-matched block and body-matched heads sitting pretty between Synergy Green brace bars, color-keyed radiator trim, fully finished fenders and a smoothed, body-matched firewall. The stalwart mill is dotted with cool dress up items, like stainless fluid lines, a polished expansion tank, a polished oil pan and a coated Edelbrock fuel pump. And, according to this Chevy's owner, it all adds up to 310 horsepower and 370 lb./ft. of torque. Park this Camaro on a lift and you'll find solid, Satin Black floorpans that provide a fitting backdrop for fresh, first rate hardware. The buff small block twists a dressed Turbo-Hydramatic 350 3-speed, which spins a 10-bolt rear axle. Beneath that drivetrain, a lowered suspension employs 2-inch drop spindles in front of 2-inch blocks. Turns come courtesy of factory-style power steering. Stops are provided by power-assisted discs and drums. Charred dinosaurs float from the aforementioned headers in to 2.5-inch, aluminized pipes, which center an H-shaped crossover in front of hearty Flowmaster mufflers and polished stainless tips. Torque transitions to pavement through stainless-trimmed Chevrolet Rally Wheels, which spin 215/65R15 BF Goodrich Radial T/As in front of 255/60R15 BF Goodrich Radial T/As. And sturdy Hotchkis subframe connectors keep everything aligned and true. Swing this Camaro's solid doors and you'll find a heavily customized interior that wraps a nice blend of classic style and modern convenience around plush leather seats. A green-laced dash hides quality Painless Wiring behind rebuilt telemetry, Vintage Air climate control, a custom LED "Camaro" emblem and direct-fit audio that bumps five Kenwood speakers. At the base of that dash, a factory console centers a handy horseshoe shifter behind factory accessory gauges. In front of the driver, a classy Rosewood steering wheel laps a tilting column. And all those components look great plotted between custom, 2-tone side panels. Thanks to its choice restoration, this vivid Camaro combines the best aspects of originality with many of hot rodding's most desirable traits. Looking for a super cool resto-mod that'll provide years of good looks and great times? Welcome to the Chevrolet family!
