The announcement this week that Grand Basel has signed a five year deal with the City of Miami Beach will see the high end event move into the Miami Beach Convention Center for a two day private event for select clients and then an open to the public event.

The presentation luncheon event this week at Setai kicked off proceedings with representatives from Grand Basel including Global Director Mark Backé, Global Director of Commercial Relations Martin Ebenroth and Manager of Commercial Relations Dominik Sigg.

In the mode of Art Basel sells art, Grand Basel’s objective is to sell one of a kind, high end automobiles in a luxurious setting with each exhibitor having their own exhibition architecture showcases which may feature from one and up to four cars along with customizable touches such as lounge furnishings with USB charging stations, professional lighting and branding graphics. 

The first Grand Basel will taking place in Basel, Switzerland September 6-9, 2018, followed by Miami Beach on February 22-24, 2019 with plans in the works to have an event in Hong Kong as well.
