Condition:
General: Totally original due to restoration and not replacement of its parts.
Body: Fortunately the car was dry stored in the owner’s garage after its last rally in the summer of 1986 and was totally free of rust. Its restoration included hand scraping and/or wire brushing (no blasting whatsoever) down to pure bare metal. All panels are the original ones with the exception of the bonnet, boot, front wings and alloy arches/spoilers that the only parts that were renewed by new yet original spares.
Engine: Totally overhauled with new liners, pistons, con-rods, valves, water and oil pumps etc all supplied by John Wilcox.
Gearbox: The gearbox was overhauled by Wayne Lee, UK.
