Austin Healey, the result of a collaboration between Leonard Lord of Austin and Donald Healey. Launched at the 1952 Earls Court Motor Show, the 100/4 BN1 was produced at Austin’s Longbridge factory using the Austin A90 engine and a chassis designed by Geoffrey Healey and a body built by Jensen.
Engine: 4 cylinder, overhead valve pushrod with twin SU HS4 Carburettors. Compression ratio 7.5:1 producing 90bhp@4000rpm. 0-60 11.2 secs, top speed 106mph.
Brakes: Girling hydraulic 11 in drums all round
Raced at Snetterton, Silverstone, Oulton, Aintree and others by G.L. Corlett in 1954/55

British Motor Heritage Certificate # 2013/28179 on 8th February 2013
